Vinyasa Flow: The Plank

This practice begins in child's pose but quickly progresses into plank variations with lots of emphasis on core work. Poses explored include side plank (vasisthasana), core cultivation in boat pose (navasana)and straight leg tolasana with blocks, as well as an exploration of headstand and forearm stand prep. Asana practice peaks with several sun salutations in tree pose and a creative sequence moving from galavasana into warrior three. Modifications are offered.
